Canopy in Viñales Valley

In 2015, Viñales Valley followed Las Terrazas in having its own Canopy installations. Many young people in search of active holidays look for this kind of activities in Viñales. The starting point of the ride is located in Loma del Fortín, which gives the name to this Canopy tour. This area is five kilometres away from the town of Viñales. The zip line is situated amidst a wooded area, and provides a nice view of the valley and the mogotes. The harness withstands a weight of 3 tons, and the cable itself about 25 tons.

Canopy in Trinidad

Trinidad (province of Sancti Spíritus) is the city with the best well-preserved architecture in the whole country. Its Historical Centre has been given the status of World Heritage by UNESCO. Being one of the most visited cities on the island, it attracts many travellers not only because of its architecture, but also for its deep-rooted traditions and now adventure tours, with a Canopy since 2017. An added value to this place is the Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Refineries). The canopy trajectory offers a fascinating view of the Valley, declared World Heritage as well. The canopy starts in the vicinity of the Mirador del Valle (Viewpoint of the Valley), to the northeast of the village.
